To the Highest Bidder by Kate Steele

Excellent work! The relationship moved a little fast for my taste, but it was fun to read. I really loved reading a book that involved a book lover! Short and sweet, I know...but so was the book!

Trust in Advertising by Victoria Michaels

Let me start out by saying that this book was....amusing. It didn't completely waste my time, but at the same time I probably would have enjoyed spending the last 2 days reading something else. I am never one to stop reading a book after I get half way through one, it seems stupid to put effort into something and then to just stop. Good thing is that the story was actually pretty well written. ***SPOILERS WILL BE MENTIONED*** After making it half way through the book with still no sex I was starting to get a little bored, but then again I am used to reading books that involve either teenage romance or A LOT of steamy business under the sheets...or wherever they end up. So even though there was no sex going on with the main characters, I continued on with hopes that it would happen soon or at least once! I mean, it's a romance about mature adults!! When is sex not involved in those relationships?? So lets just say that by the end of the book I was immensely disappointed when not only did the sex scenes not get written, but neither did marriage!! Okay...marriage is kind of a 'whatever' kinda point with me. It's not about that, but with the heat the two of them had, there should have been AWESOME sex!! But anyway...in the long run it was a good story with true romance, and a very well written book. So give it a try if you want...but if you like steamy romance....don't....just stop now and end the slow torture!!

Once again, thanks for looking in, this is what keeps my sanity in check when it comes to reading!!! Hopefully I will find the next book to write about soon!!!

Update

So I haven't made a new post in a couple days...sorry about that. I was busy celebrating a birthday party and taking a break from the computer. I did read quite a few books, but they weren't really worth writing about. At this moment I'm in a man on man kinda mood, so I have been reading a lot of Gay Erotica. They all have been okay, but their really just something to pass time until I find a series or book that really catches my interest. Anyway, thanks for reading this! I hope to soon have a book update!

About That Night by Julie James

Just finished reading About That Night by Julie James and it was as good as the last two! I really enjoy reading romantic books that involve cops/FBI or City Officials. Granted I do have to admit that, though the love between the two characters was good, it wasn't like Jordan's and Nicks in A Lot Like Love. That one was really really good. Anyway, give the book a chance. After reading the first two..in order..because it's a series!

A little info

Alright, so here is the deal. I am not a book critic or editor or anything of that nature. I just love reading and writing about the books I like or don't like just gives me a way to express my opinion. When I made this blog I did it because I'm a stay at home mom who needed a hobby and since I love reading it helped me choose. The books that I write about won't always have a certain order or be in a certain genre because I read all different types of books. I may only write a few sentences about certain books...but it's all because I may not have much to say. Again, I am not a professional anything! Since that is out of the way....I'm moving on!!! I will be posting about the next book shortly!

His Eyes by Renee Carter

This is the first book I have ever read that involved a blind character. It was well written, in my opinion, and displayed the correct struggles that a suddenly blind teenage might experience. Not that I have any idea what those struggles might be, I'm just saying. So..yet again a good book to read!

Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl

Absolutely loved this book! It sucked me right in and it didn't take long before I was laughing and crying right along with the characters. I hope that anyone who reads it has the same opinion as I do. Just read it and give it a shot!!!

Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy

Hello Everyone!!

I'm going to have so much fun with this blog, because I really enjoy reading! The first book I'm going to introduce is the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy!!! *Spoilers Alert* I just have to say straight out that this story was AMAZING!!! I have read a lot of romance novels and Erotic novels to know that, in my opinion, the book was written realistically. You can't live life without ups and downs, and when you have a lot of money those ups and downs can be more extreme! The best part was it really helped me understand the BDSM side of sex. Most people would hear Bondage and Submission and think "That's gross and demented." I didn't have such a harsh view of it, but on some level I thought it was wrong, until I read this and it made me wonder, is it really possible to feel pleasure with pain?  Let me tell you now...IT IS!!! I talked my husband into trying something new and...just WOW! It helped us get back into the mood of having a physical relationship that wasn't the same as the last 5 years! So anyway, I suggest that EVERYONE read this book, if you don't get into it just stop reading..but give it a try!!

Thanks for sticking around while I rattled on and on!!! Hope you enjoyed!
